April 29, 2024 Pastoral Update

Greetings!

On Sunday, May 19 we will celebrate Pastor Karl Jacobson and his 11 years of service to Good Shepherd. A special worship service is being planned for that day, which will be Pastor Karl’s last Sunday as our Senior Pastor. You will not want to miss it! Plan to stay after worship for a farewell picnic. The day will allow us to express our gratitude for all Pastor Karl has meant to Good Shepherd and for us to send him off in a fanfare of well wishes! More information about the May 19 celebration will be coming soon!

The Council is working with the Synod on the next steps in our transition planning. More information on this will be shared shortly. The Council greatly appreciates everyone’s patience and prayers as the process for calling our next Senior Pastor is rolled out.
