2024 South Metro MobilePack

Founded in Minnesota in 1987, Feed My Starving Children has made eliminating hunger and feeding kids Its’ mission. With three permanent locations in Minnesota, and permanent pack sites in three other states, FMSC packs life-saving meals six days a week.

In addition to those permanent locations, FMSC MobilePack events happen throughout the year. Sponsored by churches, nonprofits, schools, and other organizations, MobilePack experiences bring the food packing to you. The South Metro MobilePack has been going strong for 10 years and has brought together hundreds of businesses, churches, schools, teams, and groups to work alongside each other to pack meals.

This year the South Metro MobilePack was hosted at Hosanna Church in Lakeville, Minnesota. We had over 100 Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd members donate their time and prayers to this event. We raised over $6,200 to help offset a big grocery bill and in the end, we're a part of an event that had 6,746 total volunteers and packed 1,931,688 meals, translating into 5,292 children fed for an entire year.
