  • The Edina Anti-Racism Collective is hosting a special screening of A Binding Truth on Juneteenth at the Edina Mann Theatre. The film catalyzes meaningful conversations about race, justice, and the truth of slave history in America.   • The Minneapolis Public Schools Community Education is sponsoring a narrated cruise on the Mississippi River on September 10. Led by Dakota people, this cultural cruise along the Mississippi River takes you on a transformative voyage through time connecting the past and present of Dakota life. Get your ticket HERE.

  • Visit the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery. MAAHMG preserves, records, and celebrates the history, art, and culture of Blacks in Minnesota through exhibitions, programs, and community events. A new exhibit by Nikki McComb, "Full Circle, the Ricochet of Gun Violence" runs through June 1, featuring paintings, videos, photographs, and three-dimensional art.
